Over 300 Petersburg Students Supported at Community Day 2026

On Saturday, August 8, 2026, Consulytica joined Petersburg City Public Schools, Peoples Advantage Federal Credit Union, and community partners at Community Day 2026 at Petersburg High School for a day focused on preparing families for the new school year and connecting them with valuable community resources.

For Consulytica, the day was about making sure students had one less barrier standing between them and a successful start to school.

More Than 300 Students Received School Supplies

During Community Day, Consulytica provided school supplies to more than 300 Petersburg students, including young people whose families may have faced financial difficulty purchasing everything needed for the upcoming school year.

Notebooks, folders, writing supplies, and other classroom essentials may seem small, but the cost of preparing children for a new school year can quickly add up for families already balancing housing, food, transportation, utilities, and other household expenses.

Our goal was simple: help students walk into the classroom prepared, confident, and ready to learn.

No student should have to feel unprepared for school because their family is experiencing financial hardship.

More Than a Back-to-School Event

Community Day brought together families and organizations from throughout Petersburg for much more than school supplies.

Families were able to connect with community organizations, health and wellness services, employment opportunities, free haircuts and braiding services, food, family activities, and other resources designed to help Petersburg residents thrive.

Events like Community Day demonstrate what is possible when schools, businesses, nonprofits, financial institutions, and community organizations work together around the needs of families.

Financial Stability Impacts the Entire Family

At Consulytica, our work extends beyond credit.

We recognize that financial instability can affect nearly every part of a person’s life—from housing and transportation to food security, education, and a parent’s ability to provide necessities for their children.

That’s why community outreach is an important part of our mission.

Providing school supplies addresses an immediate need. Our broader goal is to help families access the financial tools, resources, education, and opportunities that can support long-term stability.

During Community Day, families were also able to learn more about Consulytica and resources such as our Community Stability Grant, designed to assist individuals and families experiencing financial hardship.

Investing in Petersburg’s Young People

When we invest in students, we invest in the future of the entire community.

We are proud that Consulytica was able to support more than 300 students during this year’s Community Day, but the number represents more than supplies distributed.

It represents hundreds of students starting the school year with additional resources.

Hundreds of families carrying one less expense.

And hundreds of opportunities to remind young people that their community is invested in their success.

Thank You, Petersburg

We are grateful to Petersburg City Public Schools, Peoples Advantage Federal Credit Union, participating community organizations, volunteers, and everyone who helped make Community Day 2026 possible.

Most importantly, thank you to the Petersburg families who stopped by, talked with us, and allowed Consulytica to be part of their back-to-school experience.

Over 300 students served—and we’re just getting started.

Consulytica remains committed to showing up where our communities need us, removing financial barriers, and helping individuals and families build greater stability and opportunity.
